Oral Health CIC Website
We built the first version of AOH CIC and helped Jo put her ideas into a website. We created specific pages for schools and dental practices and a dynamic News and resource section which Jo could add to whenever she liked, without the help of a web designer. We also created a ‘raisin awareness’ page, which aims to discourage the use of raisins in school meals due to their high sugar content.
Since the launch, we have added an awesome smiles section, Jo’s latest initiative aimed at supporting oral health education in schools. For this, we create a members-only section of the website and a lead capture section so Jo could start building a database of contacts for future initiatives.
I cannot recommend MDS websites highly enough.
Martin can help anyone, even if you have very little computer knowledge like me and are unsure exactly what you want. He will listen and find out all about your business, it’s aims and what you need the website to do. He will come up with a basic structure if you‘re not sure how to begin. Then it’s easier to figure out what you like and don’t like.
As well as being very knowledgeable about what is possible and having the technical know-how to put it all together, Martin is very friendly and patient. He is calm and understanding even when I changed my mind after he’d spent time building the pages!
Once I was happy with the design and was nearly ready to go live, Martin kindly gave me a tutorial on how to make changes, update the pages, etc and sent me a video so I could refer back as needed. Then he checked it worked on different size screens before going live.
We did the whole thing over zoom, and it worked fine. He was always just an email away in between.
Thank you very much. I’ve had so many positive comments since it’s launch.
Awesome Oral Health is a CIC aimed at improving children’s oral health and developing better relationships between dental practitioners, schools and communities they work in. Jo Dawson leads the way and runs campaigns and initiatives to promote oral health to school children.
Jo wanted an interactive website, so the design has lots of different features and styles. This has worked well in the early stages of AOH. As Jo continues to refine her CIC, we are gaining more clarity and understanding of what her brand should look like. Expect a new website soon to reflect this!
We are glad to play our part in this great initiative, and one of the things we love about making websites is helping people like Jo.
